making a poem

Delivering a poem is so painful
You hold your breath to avoid pain
Your tongue is struck to the  palate
Vision blinded by clumsy words
Lips paralyzed by scary thoughts
Mind held back by  metaphors
With few intermittent hiccups
You deliver a poem
Then u bleed
And enjoy half-halfheartedly
